These Subscription Terms explain the rules that apply when you buy or use a paid Yawise subscription, including paid Launchpads, member areas, templates, tools and related digital services.
Please read these terms carefully before subscribing. By buying, renewing or using a Yawise subscription, you agree to these Subscription Terms.
1.1. About these Subscription Terms
1.1 These Subscription Terms apply to paid subscriptions provided through Yawise, including Launchpads and any related paid member-only tools, templates, checklists, calculators, resources or digital services.
1.2 These Subscription Terms sit alongside our Website Terms and Conditions, Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy and any other policy or product information shown to you before you buy.
1.3 If there is a conflict between these Subscription Terms and the general Website Terms and Conditions, these Subscription Terms will usually apply to your paid subscription.
1.4 In these terms, “Yawise”, “we”, “us” and “our” means Yawise.
1.5 Contact details: [email protected].
2.2. Who can subscribe
2.1 Yawise subscriptions may be bought by consumers, sole traders, early-stage business owners, partnerships, companies and other business users.
2.2 If you buy a subscription as an individual, you may have consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited by these terms.
2.3 If you buy a subscription on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so and that the business or organisation will be responsible for the subscription.
2.4 Yawise is mainly designed for users in the United Kingdom. If you access Yawise from outside the UK, you are responsible for checking whether the content, tools and subscription terms are suitable for your location.
3.3. What your subscription includes
3.1 A Yawise subscription gives you access to the paid product, Launchpad or membership level shown at checkout and in your account.
3.2 Depending on the product you buy, your subscription may include Launchpad content, checklists, templates, scripts, example materials, calculators, quizzes, planning tools, downloads, account dashboard access, saved progress features or other member-only resources.
3.3 The exact features included may vary by Launchpad, membership level, plan or product page.
3.4 Yawise may update, change, remove, replace, reorganise or add to Launchpad content and other subscription content without warning. This may happen because guidance, examples, tools, resources, costs, rules, platform features or business requirements change.
3.5 Your subscription gives access to the current version of the relevant subscription product while your subscription is active. It does not guarantee permanent access to any specific earlier version of a Launchpad, page, template, tool or resource.
4.4. What your subscription does not include
4.1 Yawise provides practical business-starting guidance and tools. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, insurance, employment, health and safety, data protection, food safety, medical, professional, regulated or sector-specific advice.
4.2 Yawise does not register your business, approve your business, insure your business, check your compliance, complete your tax filings, prepare your accounts, obtain licences, verify your business name or operate your business for you.
4.3 Yawise does not guarantee that any Launchpad, checklist, calculator, template, script or resource covers every possible rule, risk, cost, permission, approval, licence, insurance issue, tax issue or requirement for your business.
4.4 Yawise does not guarantee sales, customers, bookings, enquiries, revenue, profit, reviews, rankings, approvals, funding, successful registration, compliance, business survival or any other business outcome.
4.5 You are responsible for checking your own business decisions, numbers, names, brands, trade marks, customer terms, regulatory duties, insurance needs and professional requirements.
5.5. Subscription model
5.1 Yawise subscriptions are currently monthly rolling subscriptions.
5.2 The minimum contract length is one month.
5.3 Unless cancelled, your subscription renews automatically each month.
5.4 Your subscription starts when your payment is accepted and access is made available, unless the checkout or product page says otherwise.
5.5 We may offer other subscription types, plans, add-ons, trials, discounted periods or payment options in the future. If we do, additional or different terms may apply.
6.6. Price, VAT and payment
6.1 The subscription price is the price shown to you at checkout at the time you subscribe.
6.2 Yawise is not currently VAT registered and VAT is not currently charged. If this changes, prices, receipts, invoices or payment information may be updated accordingly.
6.3 You must provide accurate and valid payment information.
6.4 Payments are processed through the payment provider shown at checkout. That provider may have its own terms, privacy notice, fees and processes.
6.5 You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank, card provider, payment provider or other third party, including foreign exchange fees, overdraft fees or failed payment fees.
6.6 If we make an obvious pricing error, we may cancel or correct the order where permitted by law.
7.7. Automatic renewal
7.1 Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel before the next renewal payment is taken.
7.2 Renewal payments will usually be taken using the payment method connected to your account or subscription.
7.3 You are responsible for cancelling before renewal if you do not want the subscription to continue.
7.4 Yawise aims to make online cancellation straightforward as part of the Yawise trust and customer experience approach.
8.8. Cancellation by you
8.1 You can cancel your subscription at any time.
8.2 Cancellation stops future renewal payments.
8.3 When you cancel, your access will continue until the end of your current paid billing period, unless we tell you otherwise, you receive a refund, or access is suspended or ended under these terms.
8.4 Cancellation does not automatically refund any part of the current billing period.
8.5 You should cancel through your account area, subscription dashboard, payment portal or any other cancellation method we make available. You may also contact us if you have difficulty cancelling.
8.6 If you signed up online, we aim to provide an online cancellation route.
- You can cancel/manage your membership on this link: Membership.
9.9. Cooling-off rights, immediate access and digital content
9.1 If you buy as a consumer, you may have legal cancellation rights under consumer law.
9.2 Yawise subscriptions may include digital content, online services, templates, tools, downloads and member-only access.
9.3 Because the subscription is designed to give immediate access to digital content and online services, you may be asked at checkout to agree to immediate access and acknowledge that this may affect your cancellation and refund rights.
9.4 If you agree to immediate access, you may lose the right to cancel for a full refund once digital content or services have started to be supplied, except where the law says otherwise.
9.5 Nothing in these terms removes any cancellation or refund right that cannot legally be excluded.
10.10. Refunds
10.1 Our default position is that subscription payments are non-refundable after immediate access has been provided, unless a refund is required by law or we decide otherwise.
10.2 We do not normally provide refunds because you changed your mind after accessing the subscription, did not use the subscription, forgot to cancel, no longer need the subscription, did not complete a Launchpad, or did not get a particular business result.
10.3 We may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis as a discretionary goodwill decision.
10.4 Goodwill refunds are not guaranteed. Offering a goodwill refund in one situation does not mean we must offer the same refund in another situation.
10.5 We may be more likely to consider a refund where there has been a duplicate payment, clear billing error, serious unresolved access issue caused by Yawise, or another situation where we believe a refund is fair.
10.6 If a refund is given, access to the relevant subscription, Launchpad, tools, templates, downloads or member-only resources may end immediately.
10.7 Refunds will usually be made to the original payment method unless we agree or are required to do otherwise.
11.11. No current trials or annual plans
11.1 Yawise does not currently offer free trials, discounted trial periods or annual subscription plans unless expressly stated on the product page or checkout page.
11.2 If Yawise later offers trials, discounted periods, annual plans or other subscription types, additional terms may apply.
12.12. Inactivity auto-cancellation
12.1 Yawise may offer inactivity auto-cancellation as a goodwill and customer-friendly feature.
12.2 For the purposes of inactivity auto-cancellation, activity currently means logging into your Yawise account.
12.3 If you do not log into your account for 90 days, we may send you an inactivity reminder.
12.4 If you do not log into your account for 105 days, we may send you a final inactivity warning.
12.5 If you do not log into your account for 120 days, we may cancel your subscription.
12.6 If we cancel your subscription because of inactivity, future billing will stop and your paid access will end.
12.7 Inactivity auto-cancellation does not create a right to a refund for previous months when you did not log in or use the subscription.
12.8 Inactivity auto-cancellation is not a replacement for your own right to cancel. You remain responsible for cancelling your subscription if you no longer want it.
12.9 Yawise does not guarantee that inactivity auto-cancellation will always happen. Technical issues, payment provider limitations, account issues or operational factors may affect whether and when inactivity is detected or acted on.
13.13. Access after cancellation or expiry
13.1 After your subscription ends, you may lose access to paid Launchpads, member areas, tools, templates, checklists, calculators, downloads, saved progress, workspace features or other subscription materials.
13.2 Downloaded templates or resources that you lawfully downloaded during an active subscription may usually continue to be used for their intended purpose in your own business, unless the relevant asset or product terms say otherwise.
13.3 You must not continue to access restricted content, tools or member areas after your subscription ends.
13.4 Cancellation does not automatically delete account records, payment records, support records, saved progress or other data. Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled and how you can exercise your data rights.
13.5 We may retain account, payment and subscription records where needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling or operational reasons.
14.14. Individual access only
14.1 Unless we expressly say otherwise, a Yawise subscription is for one individual user account only.
14.2 You must not share your login details or give other people access to your paid subscription.
14.3 You must not use one subscription as a shared team, partnership, household, agency, client or business account unless Yawise has expressly offered and approved that type of access.
14.4 Team, partner, co-founder or multi-user plans are not currently included unless expressly offered by Yawise.
14.5 We may suspend, restrict or cancel access if we believe a subscription is being shared, resold, abused or used outside its intended scope.
15.15. Licence to use paid materials
15.1 During an active subscription, you may access and use the paid materials included in your subscription for their intended purpose.
15.2 This includes adapting Yawise templates, scripts, checklists, examples and resources for use in planning, setting up, testing, operating or promoting your own business.
15.3 You must not resell, redistribute, publish, sublicense, share, copy into a competing product, or present Yawise materials as your own template library, course, membership, software, Launchpad product or similar product.
15.4 You must not scrape, mass download, copy or reproduce substantial parts of Yawise or its paid materials.
15.5 Some materials may have additional licence terms. Some assets may require an active subscription or continued licence for continued access or use. Where this applies, we will aim to make it clear.
15.6 You may not use Yawise branding, logos, platform design, trade marks or branded assets as your own business branding unless we have clearly allowed it.
16.16. Changing Launchpads, plans or access
16.1 Yawise may allow you to change Launchpads, switch membership levels, add extra Launchpads or change subscription access in the future.
16.2 Where this is available, the checkout, account area or product page should explain what changes, including price, access, billing date, progress retention and any effect on the current billing period.
16.3 Until Yawise expressly offers multi-Launchpad, team, partner or plan-switching features, your subscription should be treated as access to the specific paid product or membership level shown at checkout.
17.17. Price changes
17.1 Yawise may change subscription prices from time to time.
17.2 Price changes for new subscribers may apply immediately at checkout.
17.3 If we increase the price for an existing active subscription, we will aim to give reasonable notice before the new price applies.
17.4 If you do not want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before the new price takes effect.
18.18. Changes to features, content and availability
18.1 Yawise may update, improve, remove, replace, restructure or discontinue content, templates, tools, calculators, quizzes, downloads, Launchpad sections, account features or other subscription features.
18.2 We may do this without warning, including where content is outdated, inaccurate, risky, low quality, no longer useful, technically difficult to maintain, replaced by a better version, or affected by changes in law, guidance, software, plugins, third-party services or platform direction.
18.3 We do not guarantee that any specific feature, section, template, tool, resource or version will remain available permanently.
18.4 If we remove or discontinue a core paid product during a paid billing period, we may consider an alternative, credit, extension or refund where we believe it is fair or legally required.
19.19. Failed payments and chargebacks
19.1 If a payment fails, we may retry payment, ask you to update your payment method, notify you, restrict access, suspend access or cancel the subscription.
19.2 We may provide a short grace period after a failed payment, but we are not required to do so.
19.3 If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend access while the issue is investigated.
19.4 You should contact Yawise first if you believe there has been a billing mistake, duplicate payment, access issue or cancellation problem.
19.5 Nothing in this section affects any consumer rights or payment rights you have by law.
20.20. Technical access issues
20.1 If you cannot access a paid subscription product, you should contact us using [ADD CONTACT EMAIL OR CONTACT FORM URL].
20.2 We may ask for information such as your account email, order details, browser, device, screenshots, error messages or other details to help investigate.
20.3 Yawise does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
20.4 Temporary outages, maintenance, plugin issues, hosting issues, payment provider issues, internet issues, device issues, browser issues or third-party service problems may affect access.
20.5 Refunds for technical issues will be considered depending on the cause, seriousness, duration and whether the issue is within Yawise control.
21.21. No professional advice and no guaranteed outcomes
21.1 Your subscription gives access to guidance, tools and resources. It does not give you professional advice or guarantee any business result.
21.2 Yawise is not responsible for checking whether your business idea, name, offer, price, profile, template, message, policy, registration, licence, insurance, tax position, customer terms or compliance decisions are correct or suitable.
21.3 You are responsible for making your own checks, using your own judgement and taking professional advice where needed.
21.4 Yawise is not responsible for losses or poor outcomes caused by relying on general guidance, rough estimates, templates, examples, scripts or tools without making your own checks.
22.22. Suspension or termination by Yawise
22.1 We may suspend, restrict, remove or terminate subscription access for any lawful reason, including where:
you breach these Subscription Terms or the Website Terms and Conditions;
payment fails, is reversed or is disputed;
we suspect fraud, misuse, abuse, scraping, account sharing or unauthorised access;
your use creates a security, technical, legal, operational or reputational risk;
you use Yawise to infringe rights, mislead others or break the law;
we need to protect Yawise, other users, third parties or the platform;
we discontinue, replace or materially change a subscription product.
22.2 If your access is suspended or terminated because you breached these terms, you will not be entitled to a refund unless the law requires one.
22.3 If we discontinue a paid product and you have paid for access that can no longer be provided, we may consider a refund, credit, replacement or alternative access where appropriate or legally required.
23.23. Account data and saved progress
23.1 Yawise may store account information, subscription records, payment records, saved checklist progress, workspace data, support records and related information.
23.2 Your access to saved progress or workspace data may depend on having an active subscription.
23.3 Ending a subscription does not automatically require Yawise to keep, export or delete saved progress or workspace data immediately.
23.4 The Privacy Notice explains how personal information is collected, used, retained and deleted, and how you can exercise your rights.
23.5 We may retain certain records where required or appropriate for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, payment, security or operational reasons.
24.24. Notices and communications
24.1 We may contact you about your subscription, including confirmation emails, receipts, renewal information, payment failures, cancellation confirmations, price changes, product changes, inactivity reminders, security notices and support messages.
24.2 You are responsible for keeping your account email address accurate and up to date.
24.3 If you do not receive an email because your details are wrong, your inbox is full, the email is filtered, or your email provider blocks it, this does not automatically make a payment, renewal, cancellation or notice invalid.
24.4 Marketing emails are handled separately and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe method provided.
25.25. Complaints and review requests
25.1 If you have a problem with your subscription, payment, access, cancellation, refund request or account status, you should contact us using [ADD CONTACT EMAIL OR CONTACT FORM URL].
25.2 Please provide enough information for us to review the issue, such as your account email, order reference, payment date, product name, screenshots or a clear explanation of the problem.
25.3 If we suspend, restrict or remove subscription access, you may contact us to request a review. We are not required to reverse a decision, but we may review the situation at our discretion.
25.4 If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, alternative dispute resolution may be available depending on the nature of the dispute and whether an appropriate ADR provider applies.
25.5 These terms do not prevent you from using any legal rights or remedies available to you.
26.26. Changes to these Subscription Terms
26.1 We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time.
26.2 The updated version will be posted on the website with a new “last updated” date.
26.3 You should review these Subscription Terms regularly to make sure you understand the terms that apply to your subscription.
26.4 For material changes affecting active paid subscriptions, we will aim to give reasonable notice where practical.
26.5 If a change is significant and unfavourable, we will aim to give you a reasonable opportunity to cancel before the change applies, where practical and legally required.
26.6 If you continue using Yawise after updated terms apply, you will be treated as accepting the updated terms.
27.27. Governing law
27.1 These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
27.2 The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere in the UK.
27.3 Nothing in these Subscription Terms affects rights you have that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
28.Appendix A – Future hosted business profile and post-launch subscription terms
This appendix is future-facing. It applies only if and when Yawise offers hosted business profiles, public business listings, post-launch profile subscriptions or similar features.
A.1 If Yawise later offers hosted business profiles or public business listings, additional terms may apply.
A.2 A hosted business profile subscription may be different from a pre-launch Launchpad subscription.
A.3 Cancelling a hosted profile subscription may unpublish, restrict, remove or disable the public profile, profile URL, contact details, service list, images, descriptions or related hosted content.
A.4 Inactivity auto-cancellation may not apply in the same way to post-launch hosted profile subscriptions because a hosted profile may still provide value even when the user does not log in regularly.
A.5 Users may be responsible for exporting or copying any profile content they need before cancellation, depending on the feature and terms in place at the time.
A.6 Yawise may add, replace or update this appendix when hosted profile features become active.
29.Appendix B – Future team, partner or multi-user access
This appendix is future-facing. It applies only if and when Yawise offers team, partner, co-founder, shared workspace or multi-user subscription features.
B.1 Yawise subscriptions are currently individual access only unless expressly stated otherwise.
B.2 Yawise may later offer team, partner, co-founder or multi-user access for people launching a business together.
B.3 If this feature is offered, each user may need their own account, and additional pricing, permissions, responsibility, access and data-sharing terms may apply.
B.4 No team, partner or co-founder access is included unless it is clearly offered by Yawise and accepted at checkout or through the account area.
